The “Gemini logo”, “Gemini icon” or “Gemini mark” people want to remove is a white, four-point star (the sparkle) that Gemini blends into the bottom-right corner of generated images. It is semi-transparent, so the picture shows through it.

Its size depends on the image: about 48 × 48 pixels on smaller outputs and 96 × 96 pixels on larger ones, placed a fixed distance from the corner. Those fixed rules are what make an exact removal possible.

Why not crop it?

Better than cropping or blurring

Cropping the corner changes the image’s framing and aspect ratio. Blurring or a clone brush leaves a smudge that is often more noticeable than the icon. Generic AI “object removers” repaint the area and can invent details.

Is the Gemini logo the same as the Gemini watermark?

Yes. The visible Gemini watermark is the sparkle logo in the bottom-right corner. Separately, Gemini images carry SynthID, an invisible watermark that this tool does not remove.

Sometimes, but not reliably. Screenshots are usually resized, so the icon is no longer at the exact size and position the tool expects. The original download works best.
